About Our System

Findora PSIS

A centralised web platform that helps students, lecturers and staff report, locate, claim and safely recover belongings lost within Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah.

The system replaces scattered communication methods with a structured platform where lost and found reports can be managed efficiently. Administrators can match related reports, verify ownership claims, update item statuses and maintain a permanent history of successfully returned items.

Our Purpose

What the System Provides

Every feature supports a clear and secure lost-item recovery process.

Lost Item Reporting

Users can submit complete lost-item information, including the item name, category, colour, brand, location, date and image.

Found Item Reporting

Members of the PSIS community can report belongings they have found so that owners can review and claim them.

Item Matching

Administrators can connect a found report with the most suitable active lost report based on its details.

Claim Verification

Claimants provide their personal information, reason and proof of ownership before an administrator approves collection.

Notifications

Reporters receive updates when a possible match is identified or when a found item has been claimed.

Claimed Item History

Successfully approved and claimed items are stored permanently in the history archive.
